Simon is trained lawyer, Forced Migration Expert, Trade Policy Specialist. He has over 17 years hands on experience working with civil society, national, regional and international NGO's. He currently works with Trade Mark East Africa (TMEA). He has vast knowledge on managing coalitions, networks and influencing policy reforms within the region and Kenya.

He was admitted to the bar in 2010 and has over the last 10 years been advisor to the Presidency. He has vast knowledge of the public sector landscape, public policy and inter-governmental relations. He has reviewed and drafted policy and proposed legislation touching on different sectors of Kenya’s Economy.
